Zodanna’s love of dance and performance, became
apparent as a small child, and she enthusiastically began classical
ballet lessons at the age of six. She continued periodically with
additional training in modern, jazz, ballroom, and highland dancing
with much encouragement, and praise from all of her teachers.
During 1994, her passion for Middle Eastern music enticed her to
study the exotic dance form from local, interstate, and international
teachers. Zodanna’s knowledge and awareness of movement saw
her quickly achieve a place in the Oasis Dancers, making her a lively
and vital member of the troupe.
She has become a popular, regularly requested dancer, captivating
her audiences of all ages.
Zodanna’s experience also includes teaching beginner to mixed
levels for the past few years, and is known for her fun and inspirational
classes.
Before becoming a fully-qualified hairdresser, she studied Performing
Arts/Theatre at D.D.I.A.E, and later engaged in an Arts degree at
Queensland University majoring in English, and Cultural Anthropology.
She has also undertaken classical singing lessons for a duration
of 6 years
Zodanna’s comprehensive understanding and impressive mastery
of dance and stage has made her the dramatic, expressive theatrical
performer she is today. Lighting up the stage with her shining energy,
she expresses the artistry of dance, bringing excitement, and delight
to all.
