Azziza has been teaching and performing Middle Eastern Dance since 1989, having taught Middle Eastern Dance Workshops throughout Australia since 1994, and internationally from 1998. She is the co-founder of the Academy of Middle Eastern Dance and the Oasis Dancers. She organises the annual Oasis Dreams Belly Dance Competition and sponsors and organises the Winter Warm Up Belly Dance Conference each year.

Azziza is a professional dancer at weddings, parties and 5-star venues, a workshop presenter in a variety of Middle Eastern Dance topics, and a teacher of both children and adults from beginner to professional level.

Together with Yasmini, Azziza organises workshops for national and international visiting teachers. Azziza, a fully qualified teacher: Dip. Teach (Sec Com), B.Ed, GDSLT, teaches secondary school level Business studies and her dance classes are held at Carseldine and Stafford. Her student performing troupe are the “Zills and Zaghareets”
